Why Reporting Matters:
Every day, countless children suffer in silence due to sexual exploitation, abuse, and violence. Early reporting can save a life, prevent further harm, and ensure that survivors receive the support they need.
What You Can Do:
✅ Recognize the Signs – Look out for physical injuries, sudden behavioral changes, withdrawal, fear, or unusual secrecy.
✅ Report Immediately – Contact child protection services, the police, or a trusted rescue organization. Silence enables abusers.
✅ Ensure the Child’s Safety – If the child is in immediate danger, help secure a safe space for them while awaiting professional intervention.
✅ Support the Survivor – Offer reassurance and connect them with medical, legal, and psychological support services.
✅ Encourage Community Action – Educate others on child protection laws and advocate for safer environments for children.
What NOT to Do:
❌ Do not blame the child – Abuse is never the child’s fault.
❌ Do not ignore signs of abuse – Acting fast can prevent further harm.
❌ Do not protect the abuser – Report all cases and let justice take its course.
